Farm Planner

1. Name the farm and pick your region. The dashed rectangle is only an example — draw the real outline of your land with the Land tool: click to place corners, click the first corner again to close the shape.
2. Split it into zones with the Zone tool. A zone is a field, a paddock, a polytunnel — anything you manage as one unit.
3. Put a crop in a zone with the Crop tool, and mark which zones you can irrigate. That is what lets the app tell you what to plant where.
4. Save. From then on your zones appear in planting, harvest and cost pages, and each one carries its own yield and margin.

Nothing here has to be accurate to the metre. The shapes only need to be close enough that the areas are roughly right, because area is what drives seed quantities and yield estimates.
